Admissions arrangements for September 2019
The process for applying for Y7 in September 2019 will open in September 2018. The deadline to apply is Wednesday 31 October 2018.
Our Open Evening is on Thursday 27 September 2018 at 6 – 9pm and our Open Mornings are on Monday 1 to Thursday 4 October 2018. We will be taking bookings for the open mornings in September, please check back here after the summer holiday to book online.
The school operates its admission arrangements as part of the coordinated admission scheme operated by West Sussex County Council. All parents are encouraged to apply using the online application system at www.westsussex.gov.uk/admissions.
Admission to the school at age of transfer in September is handled by the West Sussex County Council Pupil Admissions Service. The admission process for starting in September 2019 will open in September 2018 and the deadline to apply for a place will be Wednesday 31st October 2018. All on time application places will be offered to parents in March 2010 and the Pupil Admissions Service will then deal with late applications. All main round offers for Y7 Secondary places are handled by West Sussex Pupil Admissions and then we then admit a student based on their offer.

The process for applying for other year groups Y8 – Y11 in September 2018 will be handled by Bohunt Worthing, as an in-year application. The In Year Admission form for 2018 – 19 will be available here in September 2018. The process will be as detailed below for 2017/18 in year admissions.

Amendment to the Admission Policy for 2020/21:
The Trust (Bohunt Education Trust) discussed the order of admission priorities and how this can affect different schools. It was decided that an amendment would be made to the policy in the order of admittance. Siblings will be given a higher priority than children living in catchment .
The consultation period runs from Friday 23 November 2018 and to Friday 4th January 2019. Any comments on the Admissions Policy should be sent by email to the Headteacher’s PA, Lisa Day – firstname.lastname@example.org.
