There are several services locally that we recommend for our students and their families, if you need help whilst school is closed for the break then please consider using the following: – online counselling and chat service, open:
Monday to Friday 12pm – 10pm, Saturday to Sunday 6pm – 10pm

• Text the School Nurse on 07480 635424 – available Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm

• Find it Out Centre: drop in service for support, open:
Monday: 1.30pm-5.00pm
Tuesday: 1.30pm-5.00pm
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 1.30pm-5.00pm
Friday: 1.30pm-5.00pm

• In a mental health crisis, go to your nearest hospital with an Accident and Emergency (A&E) Department.  In some hospitals, this will be called the Emergency Department. There are staff on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week, who will be able to assess you and give you the appropriate help.

If you are a parent or carer in need of support in dealing with mental health concerns regarding your child you can call 0808 802 5544 – this is the Young Minds helpline, a local charity offering help and guidance, open 9.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
