CODE OF CONDUCT

Enjoy

I will:

• be still, quiet and calm at the start of lessons
• pay attention and look at staff when they are talking
• respond straight away to instructions or ask for help
• be silent and listen when someone is making a point
• wait in silence until told to leave by staff at the end of each lesson

Respect

I will:

• be caring and polite to others through my choice of words and actions
• co-operate with staff and accept advice and guidance
• show consideration to everyone as individuals and work with anyone in my group when asked
• wear the correct uniform and wear it correctly at all times

Achieve

I will:

• be punctual for registration and lessons
• bring the correct books and equipment
• listen to the following instructions
• participate positively in lessons and support other pupils in the learning process
• complete set tasks and do my best

Social Time

We believe you should have the opportunity to relax and socialise

• Be sociable – no mobile phones, headphones or iPads. iPads can only be used in the LRC or by seeking permission from a member of staff
• Be calm – no shouting or name calling
• Be respectful – you are responsible for your environment, keep it clean and clear
• Be healthy – no sweets, fizzy/energy drinks or gum, these will be disposed of
• Be safe
• Be careful – ensure your activity is sensible and safe
• Be kind – include and look after each other
• No coming upstairs during break and lunch
• No running inside the school building
