Y6 Welcome Evening at Bohunt Worthing CANCELLED
In what continues to be a rapidly changing and serious picture we would like to update you on the school’s current position and our forthcoming Welcome Evening planned to take place on Thursday 26th March at 4pm.
Ensuring the health and safety of our pupils, family and staff is a top priority at Bohunt Worthing, and we believe it is best to operate with caution at this time. Due to the recent press, where the Prime Minister stated that all non-essential contact with other people should be avoided, we have decided to unfortunately cancel the Welcome Evening.
This decision comes as a result of thoughtful discussions regarding what is best for our current and future pupils, families and staff.
In the meantime to prepare for your child’s arrival at Bohunt in September, we have provided an electronic form as an alternative to the paper Student Information form which was sent to you with our letter dated 2nd March 2020. Please complete the electronic form:
https://forms.gle/RWpAGJXaWCrCLUog9
This form will enable us to collect the data we require in order to ensure good communication, create a record for your child and a smooth transition. If you are unable to complete the electronic form please post the purple Student Information form the above address. If you have misplaced the form and are unable to complete the electronic version, please call the office on 01903 601361 or email us at info@bohuntworthing.com and we will send you a copy.
Our previous letter mentioned that the admission form must be returned along with the proof of address and date of birth. We understand that providing proof in person will not be possible at this moment in time and we are therefore providing you with a simple solution, simply upload a photo of your docs to the electronic form.
Please return your form electronically (or by post), by Monday 30th March.
If you or your child have any further concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office and a member of our team will get back to you if needed.
In the meantime, please know we are committed to doing everything possible to rearrange this Welcome Evening when the situation allows.
With very best wishes
Mr Adam Whitehead BSc (Hons)
Headteacher
