BSW has been busy preparing for World Book Day in many ways – so many we decided to create a news article to share all the information in one place!
In the whole school assembly on Monday 2nd March, Head of the English department, Ms Warrington launched the activities for Thursday for World Book Day. They include:

Shakespeare Shoot Out on the Muga
50p to enter. Answer 3 book related questions and win the opportunity to take 3 penalties against Mr Jones. All names will go into a raffle to be drawn out later.

Treasure Trail
Find hidden quotes and clues during lunchtime, starting in the LRC, win a prize if you get find all ten clues!

Glitter face painting
In the hall at lunchtime – 50p for glitter or face jewels.

Design a book cover competition
Students can design a book cover for their favourite book or a book they are studying. The deadline to submit all book designs is Friday 20th March and they need to be submitted to Mrs Ridsdale and Mrs Evans in the LRC.

Top 20 Reads at BSW for 2019/20
