• English Language Paper 1: strategies and approaches for reading unseen fiction and writing their own skilful and strategic creative writing pieces, critical for GCSE Language success
• GCSE Literature Papers 1 and 2: applying their knowledge to full papers, learning planning and monitoring strategies and completing lots of scaffolded essay writing practice in class
• Spoken Language: students plan, practise and complete an individual presentation for the GCSE Spoken Language component and to experience the key skill of public speaking
